Disney Foodie Guide

One of the main reasons to visit Disney World, other than rides and characters, is the food scene. The offerings are great year round but going in the spring for Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival or the fall Food and Wine Festival will only elevate your choices and taste buds. Covid protocols have some of the best spots closed but I promise you will not be disappointed!

Magic Kingdom

Dole Whip: This is a staple when visiting Disney. Located all over but the best is at Aloha Isle located in Adventure Land. There are many flavors and variations but I stick with the basic pineapple! The serving size is huge so this is a shareable!

LeFou’s Brew: You can find this interesting blend of flavors at Gaston’s Tavern. Its frozen apple juice with marshmallow and topped with passionfruit foam. Its refreshing but definitely sweet. I recommend sharing as well.

Hollywood Studios

Raspberry Lunch Box Tart: It was prettier than it’s flavor profile but was a great dessert option after enjoying the BBQ brisket melt at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land. I mean who doesn’t think of their childhood when eating a poptart!

Disney Springs

Crispy Mac and Cheese Bits: Yup! Paired with a glass of red wine at Wine Bar George its the perfect blend of basic B and sophistication.

Tartare: If you love raw fish, get a reservation at Morimoto Asia. My favorite aspect of this dish is the customization. You scape a bit of the fish and then add chives, wasabi, soy or whatever else! I also recommend the lychee martini!

Epcot

Guacamole: We all love eating around the world and what better place to start than with a margarita and chips with guac at Choza de Margarita.

*Popsicle Trio: After a long hot day around the world, the Refreshment Port offers this trio of Honeydew, Raspberry-Mint, and Coconut-Lime popsicles. They need to keep these year round!

*Frushi: Strawberry, pineapple, and cantaloupe wrapped in sweet rice topped with whipped cream, berry sauce, and toasted coconut. This unique sushi roll can be found in Japan.

Animal Kingdom

Cheeseburger Bao Buns: Satu’li Canteen has these guys and they are sooo good. Its exactly what you think; a cheeseburger with pickles in a steam bun pod! They are considered a meal but we shared them as an appetizer!

Beef Bowl: Also found at Satu’li Canteen this bowl of deliciousness is enough to share between 2 people. I love that you can customize the base and the sauce. I suggest the noodles! The boba balls give it an extra pop of crunch! I enjoy the fact that now you can mobile order ahead for your meals. I mean let’s be honest, we wait in line too much already!

Can’t wait for you to try all of them!!!

*items only available during Taste of Epcot Flower and Garden Festival!
