Denver Weekend Getaway

We love to getaway to Denver when ever we can. Typically we are headed there for an EDM concert at Red Rocks so we are always trying new things and new places. Below are all of my finds and the list will continue to build the more we go so always be checking back!! Pro tip: use Pinterest and create a pin with this blog. Not only will you have the blog for info but it will help me greatly! If you plan to travel beyond Denver, check out Colorado Distilleries!

BRUTO

Are you ready for an amazing food and drink pairing? BRUTO is located in the dairy block. It’s a small intimate setting with views of the kitchen to watch the fresh creations being made. The cost starts at $115 per person with additional charges for add ons.

B & GC

A super hidden speakeasy located in Cherry Creek. The drinks were beyond amazing. The bartender made off menu cocktails for us based off our likes. We both had tequila cocktails. They also offer small bites too!

Welton Room

You can enjoy creative cocktails in the cocktail lounge which is beautiful or head over to their new dining room for dinner. You must try the espresso martini. It is topped with coffee and orange whip and a macaroon.

Grounds for Dismissal

A must stop on your way into Denver from the airport. They offer the best coffee flights! Warning they are huge so don’t make our mistake and order 2… way to much espresso!!

Denver Botanical Garden

If the weather allows this is a fabulous spot to explore while taking a break from eating and drinking. There were so many gorgeous flowers!

Wolf’s Tailor

Another fabulous food and cocktail pairing experience. If you visit during the winter, you can reserve the private yurt outside. The flavors were amazing.

Run for the Roses

Located in the Dairy Block, this speak easy is in the basement, you just have to follow the roses. The menu is a deck of cards which makes it easy as you chose your spirit and flavor! For sure stop here before to after dinner at BRUTO!

Red Rock

No matter who you see, a concert here has to be a bucket list item. Not only is the venue gorgeous but you have so much space to move and dance. If you can’t make it to a concert, drive up and explore the grounds and the museum!

Denver Biscuit Company

A must for brunch. We always get the same thing; giant cinnamon roll to share, the Elmer; pork belly, coleslaw and crispy onions and The Cordon Bleu; friend chicken and honey butter. They have multiple locations so it’s very easy to find.

Deviation Distillery

Known for their signature cocktail, The Flip; a gin based drink with yummy foam. Located in the Dairy Block, it’s a great spot to start or end your evening.
