PLACES TO EAT AND DRINK

MORNING GLORY
The most epic breakfast spot ever! They do not accept reservations so you must line up early to avoid a wait time. All of their drinks are amazing and the food does not disappoint. They have a new drink Lychee Loma; its so refreshing but you have to be able to handle tequila at 8 am!!! Do not miss their delicious French toast, lobster bennys or breakfast carbonnara!
BORN AND RAISED
This delicious steak house has an epic rooftop. We chose to sit up at the bar. We ordered the Dirty Hashbrowns, a perfectly cooked filet mignon and plenty of drinks. Their espresso martini comes with cold foam!!!! If you are celebrating something especial you can request the champagne cart to come around!

CAFE 21
We discovered this spots years ago and since then they have changed to a tapas style restaurant which makes me love it even more. I ordered the mimosa flight again which had amazing flavors; black sesame, strawberry, pineapple, and lavender. We tried a few different dishes and my fav was the shrimp corn fritter suggested to us by our server. Loved Cafe 21 then and still love it now!
CLOAK AND PETAL
Sushi and fabulous drinks is what drew me to this location. We sat at the bar and enjoyed happy hour rolls and cocktail under the cherry blossom tree. I recommend the La Jolla Roll and the Red Sun cocktail!

NOLITA HALL
Come to Nolita for the food and drinks but stay for the airplanes and quotes on the board. They have an old school airplane board with amazing quotes that are so fun to read while enjoying your dinner. My favorite thing to eat here is their tartare! Tis so pretty! Nolita is always changing up their cocktails and I’m never disappointed!
QUEENSTOWN PUBLIC HOUSE
One of the best brunch spots in San Diego! We love sitting outside and enjoying the fun ambiance. Queenstown has an amazing steak croissant sandwich! I suggest enjoying one of their seasonal cocktails. They are so fresh!

LITTLE ITALY FOOD HALL
The food hall is awesome! We enjoyed the NOT NOT tacos station and Bobboi gelato! You can find a spot at the bar to enjoy your food or take it outside. Little Italy Food Hall also has burgers, lobster rolls, pizza and Asian foods.
CROWN BISTRO
You can find this adorable spot on Coronado. Crown Bistro has so many fun flavors for mimosas! I had the passionfruit that was served in a cute bird glass! You can sit on the patio to enjoy the sunshine. Ryan was so happy that this menu was your original breakfast; eggs, hash browns, bacon and french toast!!! Perfectly Simple! I recommend walking off your food coma and head to the beach!

COFFEE SPOTS
You know I love coffee and search out the best spots everywhere I go. So far my favs in this town are Dark Horse, where I had the CHAMP! I’ve been to Portal Coffee so many times and love their orange vanilla monarch and spiced honey lattes! A fun spot to try during the week is MUD BAR. This father/daughter duo make the best coffees and have fun flavors! Get the spiced brown sugar latte iced!!!
THINGS TO EXPLORE
SAN DIEGO ZOO AND SAFARI PARK
If you have an extra few days to explore, I recommend adding one or both of the zoo experiences; San Diego Zoo or Safari Park. Each experience will take you a day but its so fun!

DAY TRIP TO TEMECULA
Or stay the night! This fun, fast growing wine country is located about an hour from San Diego! There are so many great spots! We love Europa, Carter Estates, Lorenzi and Vindemia!
EXPLORE CORONADO
We love taking a car over to Coronado Island and walking the beach. One year we went the sand was black with golden flecks. We walked around Hotel del Coronado, which is known for its connection with Marilyn Monroe and had a drink on the patio.
